Writing

This term in writing, we will be giving children the opportunity to show what they can do in a variety of writing styles. We will cover lots of different styles including character descriptions, setting descriptions and poetry allowing the children to recall previous learning to construct their writing pieces. 

In addition to this, we will continue to reconsolidate knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar so that children can make effective use of these in their written work. 

Important date

Please remember that the Prophets will be sitting their SATs tests on the week commencing

Monday 9th May 2022.

The children will sit a Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling paper (Paper 1) and a Spelling paper (Paper 2) on Monday 9th May 2022.
