Safeguarding and E-Safety

The safety of all children in the family of St Nicholas CE Primary Academy is always our priority.  This includes when they are at school, under our care and also when they are at home.

There are some useful websites for you, as parents, to read for guidance and support around the issues of safety online.  In school all children receive E-safety education as part of their computing and PSHE lessons, at a level appropriate to their age and understanding.

To find out more information about how to join the schools FREE National Online safety  membership please click below

To further educate the children in our school, our Mini Police volunteers are also trained to promote the need for E-Safety and teach children ways of keeping themselves safe. They use videos, images, questions and props to do this successfully.

Have a look at some of these websites, guides and resources to help you keep your child safe online. Remember help is always available at school if you are having any problems online. Don’t be afraid to talk to your teacher or another adult at school.

Always be careful when you are using the internet. It can help you to keep in touch with your friends and help your education – but it can also cause harm – to you and to others.
