This term we will be securing the phase 5 sounds that we have learnt when reading and spelling. There are lots of alternative ways of making the sounds and we will learn which sounds are the best choice for each word when spelling. At home keep practicing the sounds on your sound mat and try to spot them in words.
Don't forget that you can log onto our Nessy reading and Spelling computer game as often as you like! Compete with the rest of the class to earn nuggets and spend most time playing each week to earn a special Nessy certificate!
