During our topic learning this term, we will be using world maps and satellite images to locate Mexico, identifying which hemisphere it is in, its location in relation to the equator, and its surrounding countries. Then we will look at a range of images that illustrate aspects of ancient Maya civilisation and explore the history of chocolate.

We can't wait to get musical with this topic and listen to a range of examples of Maya music, before designing and creating our own instruments and holding a music festival.
