This project teaches children about the concept of the portrait and how the collage technique can be used to make a portrait.
We will explore portraits created by various artists and by using a mirror, we will have a go at drawing our own portrait.

We will then have a look at collages and have a go ourselves. We may create something like this!
Towards the end of the unit we will use what we have learnt to create a self-portrait using collage like the ones below.
We created our own people collages.
