To start the project we will be finding out about food decay and preservation. We will look at how food can be stored and packaged to prevent this from happening. Once we have discovered key inventions in food preservation and packaging, we will learn how packaging is made and then create some prototypes of our own!
We will be also be exploring healthy foods and using our skills of chopping, slicing, mashing and grating to prepare some healthy snacks!
Our final challenge will be to make our own healthy snack and put it in suitable packaging that we have made to ensure it is protected from damage and decay!
