Voting day!
We made a video to showcase how we at St Nicholas Church of England Primary Academy let our light shine. We worked together to plan our video and to take photographs of school. We then voted on which songs we would like to be a part of our video. Please click on the link below to virtually visit our amazing school.
Our Mayor Visit
Little FISH were invited by the Mayor of Boston, Councillor Anne Dorrian, to see the town of Boston's many artefacts that are kept in the Mayor's Chambers. We also got to see the Mayor's Parlour where we were allowed to explore and ask lots of questions.

In the Mayor's Chambers there are many artefacts with such interesting stories! Ask one of the Little FISH to tell you which artefact was their favourite and why.
We had the chance to explore the Mayor's Parlour. In the Mayor's Parlour there were lots of interesting objects which also had fascinating stories. There are two gigantic books full of photographs of all the previous Mayors. The Mayor also has a Qur'an on display as she was given it as a gift from an Imam because Madam Mayor was the first lady to speak at the Mosque.

In our meeting with Mr Booth, we were given 3 challenges to complete over the Summer term.
We have been asked to arrange a fundraising even and a project to support our Infinity Trust charity, Save Our Wild Isles.
Save Our Wild Isles
The charity that was chosen by Infinity Academies Trust is called 'Save Our Wild Isles'. This campaign is run by three charities that are similar to those that we voted for. The charities involved are the WWF, the RSPB and the National Trust.
The UK's nature is amazing. It’s also our life support system. But our precious wildlife and wild places are on the brink. The UK is one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world. If you love nature, act now and find out how you can be part of the change.
So, as part of Infinity Academies, we are all going to be a part of the change. All schools across our trust are planning a fundraising event and a project that we can do as a school to support wildlife in our school grounds.

We held our cake sale to raise money for our whole trust charity, Save our Wild Isles.
Our meetings have become a lot more practical since we have been planning our cake sale.
Delivering Collective Worships and assemblies.
As a Little FISH representative, one of our duties includes delivering information to our whole school family. During the Summer term, we are showing the whole school videos from other schools within our trust so we can get to know what other schools are like.
