In Maths this term we will be focusing our learning on place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. 

By the end of these units our children should be able to:

• Use numbers up to 10,000,000 with all 4 operations

• Round any given number up to 10,000,000

• Use negative numbers and calculate intervals across zero

• Use short and long methods of multiplication and division

• Identify common factors, common multiples and prime numbers

• Apply their knowledge of the above to solve problems and reason mathematically

In addition, we will continue to improve our times tables and arithmetic, building both accuracy and speed of completion.
