In this DT unit, children learn about the Second World War campaign, Made Do and Mend, and how it influenced everyday lie, fashion and the war effort.  Prophets will investigate existing clothing for fabric, function, features and fastenings, and assess the possibilities for repurposing garments.  During this unit we will revisit and practice stitching.
