Phonics

Phonics is taught every day and the children will move through the different phases in the letters and sounds programme. Please continue to practice using sounds at home when reading and writing.

This term we will be using our phase 3 sounds in reading and spelling.  Once we are confident with this we move into phase 4 of our phonics programme which will see us learning to use our phase 2 and 3 sounds in longer words when reading and spelling.
