This term in Prophets class, we will be learning about rites of passage in world religions. We will be exploring the Hindu rites (samskaras) of birth and initiation as well as for the Jewish and Islamic religions. We will be comparing what we learn from these three religions and comparing them to what we already know about rites of passage from Christianity.
