Phonics and Writing
We will continue to work on using Phase 2 and Phase 3 sounds in words, and will be writing longer sentences. See the Phase 2 and Phase 3 sound mats below to practice the sounds you are not sure about.
Can you practice writing words and sentences? You could talk about something you have seen or done, using the sounds below.
We played ‘Rocket Rescue’ on Phonics Play and had to write words to match the pictures. When we entered each correct word onto the screen we gained a piece of rocket, when complete the rocket blasted off 🚀
We were inspired by our caterpillars to write all about them and their lifecycle.
We have been trying really hard to write sentences using the sounds we know.
