Our science topic for this term is Animals including humans and teeth. This topic will include looking at the different foods we eat, what happens to our food when we eat it and the different types and functions of teeth.

This afternoon, we have spent time looking at our teeth and discussing the functions of the different teeth we have. We have also been discussing why some animals have different teeth to humans. 

Can you you remember what type of teeth a carnivore would have more of? 

EGGsperiment time!

We have been investigating how toothpaste protects our teeth. We sat the bottom half of our eggs in toothpaste for 24 hours and then soaked the whole egg in vinegar for the weekend. What do you think happened? Can you spot the difference?
