This term in Maths we will be focusing on Area, followed by Multiplication and Division and Fractions.

We will be exploring the following:

• Calculate area of rectangles
• Estimate area of irregular shapes
• Multiply numbers up to 4 digits by 1 or 2-digit numbers
• Use the formal written method for long multiplication
• Divide numbers up to 4 digits using short division
• Equivalent fractions
• Mixed numbers / Improper fractions
• Convert fractions / mixed numbers 
• Compare and order fractions
