To understand that a memorial is something made to remind people of a significant person or event.

Have a look at the powerpoint to see what a memorial is. Your task is to choose a significant person we have been looking at (Neil Armstrong, Rosa Parks, Emmeline Pankhurst, Henry VIII etc) and draw a memorial for that person.

To use a laptop/Ipad to retrieve a picture.

Next week we will be learning about the Pilgrim Fathers. Today, can you see if you can turn on an ipad/laptop and go into google using your internet browser. Then have a go at typing the words 'Pilgrim Fathers' into the search bar. Your task is to find pictures of who the Pilgrim Fathers were. You can either save the pictures or copy and paste them onto a word document.
