This term we will be working on the formal methods for multiplication and division, multiplying fractions by an integer, finding fractions of a whole and finding equivalent fractions an decimals.

Multiplication and Division

By the end of this unit, children will be able to :

- Multiply a 2,3 or 4 digit number by a 1 digit number.

- Multiply a 2,3 or 4 digit number by a 2 digit number.

- Solve problems with multiplication.

- Divide a 4 digit number by a 1 digit number.

- Divide with remainders

- Solve problems with division.
