What an amazing day we have had in Saints class for our Wow day. First we learnt all about how and why the Ancient Egyptians used the mummification process to preserved their Pharaohs.
Then we mummified a tomato by scooping out the 'flesh' and 'organs' before we covered it in ointment and natron. The children then enjoyed wrapping each other, and then Mrs Dobbs, in toilet paper to finish the mummification process.
