Victorian Schools

Do you know what it was like to go to school in Victorian times?  What do you think they learnt?  How do you think the teachers treated the children?  Do you think they were happy places?

Today we are going to investigate what it was like to go to a Victorian school and what happened when children were there!

Challenge 1

Look at the pictures and decide if they are things from a Victorian school or a school now.  You could sort them onto the venn diagram if you wish.

Read the statements and decide if each one is true or false.  You can sort them onto the true or false grid if you wish.
