Decimals

For maths this term we will be completing our unit on decimals. This will include ordering, rounding and comparing numbers to two decimal places. We have already been learning about tenths and hundredths and how these are part of a whole and we will be expanding on this understanding. 

Measure

We will then begin to look at measurements, first with money. We will be able to use our knowledge of decimals to help us with our understanding of pounds and pence. Throughout this unit, we will converting pounds and pence, estimating money, finding change and adding and subtracting different amounts of money. 

Time

We will complete this unit of measure by looking at time. In this unit we will start by telling time to the minute and understanding am and pm, before moving on to converting 12 hour and 24 hour analogue clocks to digital.
