Have you done your TT Rockstars?
We ask that your child plays Times Table Rockstars for at least 10 minutes every day! This is to help them flourish in all areas of maths including multiplication, division, fractions, money, time.... the list goes on!
Over the summer terms Maths will consist of Fractions (number), Money (measurement), Time (measurement), Shape (geometry) and Statistics.
1) Fractions. The children will be looking at adding and subtracting fractions.
Vocabulary will include:
equivalent non - unit unit numerator
denominator whole half quarters
2) Money - Children move on to look at converting pounds and pence, as well as adding and subtracting money finding change.
Vocabulary:

3) Time. This unit will get children looking at time and clocks, showing the analogue time for both a 12 - hour clock and 24 - hour clock.

Shape will be the second from last block and children will be able to explore and learn about angles as well as both 2D and 3D shapes.

Statistics: Finally, children will look at being able to show results / data in a range of ways, including pictograms, bar charts and tables.
