High Frequency Words

In year 2 we learn to read and spell the 'tricky' words which are normally difficult to spell as they are not phonetical and sound very different to how they are spelt. Please help your child learn these tricky words over the year! 

RWI Spelling

After October half term we will be hoping to move most children in the class away from daily phonics sessions on to daily spelling sessions. Those children who have not yet met the required standing in their phonics skills will still require, and have access to, daily discreet phonics teaching.
