Monday

Read pages 1 and 2 of the book.  Talk about the four seasons. Answer the following questions:

• What happens in each of the four seasons? Think about weather, activities, celebrations.
• Which season is their favourite?  Why?
• Talk through the months of the year.  Which month is your birthday in?

Tuesday

Read the book pages 4-8. Find out what spring is like.   Talk about your favourite parts of spring.  Explain why they are your favourite.  You could draw a picture of your favourite things about spring.

Wednesday

Read the rest of the book together.  Enjoy finding out about how spring differs from the other seasons and also about spring around the world!

Task: Write down 3 fascinating facts that you have found out!
