Places of Worship

This term we continue with our work about places of worship. We have already learnt about the Christian place of worship and we enjoyed exploring the key features inside the church including the font, the altar, candles and stained glass windows..

This term we will be finding out about places of worship in other faiths including the synagogue, and the Mosque. We will try to find out what is similar about different places of worship and why each of them are important to the people that worship there.  We will continue to then think about special places in our own lives that are important to us and continue to explore reasons why they are special.
