Topic: What happens when I'm asleep?
This term our topic is 'What happens when I fall asleep?'
This term we will be learning about what happens when we fall asleep. This will include learning about:
- bedtime routines
- nocturnal animals
- festivals of light (Diwali, Bonfire night, Christmas)
- people who work at night
- the night sky
- light and dark
The children enjoyed learning about firework safety and using their phonic knowledge to write a firework safety rule.
The children enjoyed talking about fireworks and using their fingers to create firework paintings. They looked carefully at photographs to identify the patterns that fireworks make in the sky.
