We took a favourite toy to school this week as we continued to talk about how we all have different likes and dislikes. We took turns to talk about them 🧸
We have been using our Art skills to draw pictures of different fruits. We have also been thinking about our favourite fruits and how we have different likes and dislikes to others. Following on our fruit theme we listened to the book Handa’s Surprise and realised we hadn’t tried some of the fruits in the book. Asda Steve visited us and kindly brought in the exotic fruits from the story for us to try and explore. He brought us the whole fruits for us to look at and we predicted what the fruits would look like inside. We then tried the fruits as we read the story again. We were very adventurous in trying all the new flavours, some we really enjoyed and others we weren’t so sure about.
We received The Family Book this week alongside Gypsey Bridge and Spilsby Primary schools. We listened to the story which explored how families are all unique. We then drew pictures of our families and talked about them. We will share our pictures with the other schools.
