God - Islam

This term we will be learning about God in Islam. We will learn about the holy book of Islam—the Qur’an. We will also read about the Prophet Muhammad in stories from the Qur’an.

We have learned that Allah has 99 different names. These represent the different characteristics that he has. 

We read the Islamic creation story and found out that Muslims believe that Allah created the world. We chose a part of the story and drew a picture to show our understanding.

We  have explored the holy book for Islam - the Qur'an. We talked about how the book is treated and how Muslims prepare to read it.
