Lots of work completed by Noah’s Ark while isolating, well done everyone 🤩

The Midday supervisors awarded the whole class - Nosh’s ark - their lunchtime award. Noah’s Ark were so proud that they were recognised for shining their lights so bright during lunch-times.

We explored how different toys move and found that some we pull, some we push, and some we spin. We then made our own moving spinner toy and used our hands to spin it, then pull to continue the movement.

We have had to be patient because our sunflower seeds have been very slow to grow, but this week we finally planted them just outside our area for everyone passing by to admire!

Balance bike training - we learnt how to be safe on our bikes and practiced moving on them.

PE this term focuses on ‘ball skills’ and we will be exploring ways of using the balls. This lesson the children used tennis racquets, sponge balls, then graduated to tennis balls.

Noah’s Ark love to learn outside and have been working together to connect the shapes together. The children have made unicorns, bikes, cars, buildings power tools and much much more... April 2021

The children enjoyed using the balls to throw, catch, kick and roll during our PE lesson. They finished the lesson with a Noah's Ark football match - April 2021

Our science lesson was 'What Melts?'. We explored how we could melt a chocolate button and used our warm mouths and hands. We placed chocolate buttons around our classroom to see what happened to them, including near the open window and on the radiator.

We then sat around the Christmas Tree and drank hot chocolate. We added marshmallows and cream to our hot chocolate and watched what happened to them before we drank it up.

We finished off with 'We wish you a Merry Christmas'.
