We watched ourselves on the TV!!
We held our own Harvest festival in our classroom during our RE lesson. We donated lots of food to Restore Church.
Tom from Lincolnshire County Council came to visit us to talk to us about our emotions and taught us strategies about how to cope with our emotions.

We joined a live webinar that was run by Nich Sharratt and Pippa Goodhart. We looked at their new book, You Choose Christmas, and we learnt how to draw Christmas characters!
We went to the Usher Art Gallery in Lincoln. We looked at the range of art and we drew what inspired us. We then used our drawings to create a clay tile.
Pudsey Bear visited Aposltes class!
2022/2023
DT - preparing a healthy snack for the school menu! We had a visit from Asda Steve, the local community champion to support us in our learning! We discussed the different food groups and how a dish might be considered as healthy and balanced!
Cinema Experience! We had the wonderful opportunity to go on a cinema visit to watch Clifford the Big Red Dog! It was many of the Children’s first visit to the cinema and what a wonderful experience it was for all involved!
Asda Steve came to support our learning in DT this week. We thought about wherever get our food from and recapped that humans can get plants and meat! Asda Steve explained that we can eat different parts of a variety of plants and we went on to try a selection of roots, shoots, stems, leaves, fruit and seeds! We used all of our senses to explore adjectives that we could use to describe the food. Finally we created a tally chart of our most favourite ... the watermelon and the least favourite ...celery!

We had a visit from Lincolnshire County Council for a feelings and friendship workshop!
We were lucky to have a workshop from Lincolnshire Smiles about Tooth Hygiene! We are learning about the importance of healthy teeth!
