Plant parts 

This term we will be learning all about plants. We will begin by looking at the difference between wild and garden plants and will then move onto identifying a variety of different plants and trees. We will identify and describe basic parts of plants and observe how they change over time. 

 

Garden and wild plants 

A garden plant is a plant that has been planted by a person which they look after. A wild plant is a plant that grows without human intervention.

Leaves 

After looking at different plant parts we will dive deeper into learning about leaves. We will look at the parts of a leaf and the types of leaves there are.
