In Maths this term, we will be getting our Year 6 children ready to make their move on to secondary school. We will be making sure they have secure understanding in fractions, decimals and percentages before finishing the year focusing on properties of shape and angles.

By the end of these units our children should be able to:

Complete all 4 operations with fractions

Convert fractions from between fractions decimals and percentages

Multiply formally using long multiplication

Divide formally using long division

Recongnise angles where they meet at a point or on a straight line

Find missing angles in triangles, quadrilaterals and regular polygons
