    • compare groups of objects using the vocabulary 'more' and 'less/fewer'
    • recognise when amounts are equal
    • begin to understand the concept of adding two amounts together

    • comparing objects weight using the vocabulary 'lighter' and 'heavier'
    • measure capacity using the vocabulary 'full' and 'empty'
    • measure the height of objects using the vocabulary 'tall' and 'short'
    • measure the length of objects using the vocabulary 'longer' and shorter'
    • recall the days of the week
