Why do Christians put a cross in the Easter garden?

This term, we will be learning about the celebration of Easter and what it represents to Christians.

By the end of the term, children will be able to understand that:

• Christians remember Jesus’ last week at Easter.

• Jesus’ name means ‘He saves’.

• Christians believe Jesus came to show God’s love.

• Christians try to show love to others.
